 Application of Beech

Beech logs and lumber are highly regarded primarily for their adaptability. Due to its remarkable strength and excellent workability, beech can be utilized in nearly every application. This includes veneer, rotary cut veneer, or lumber for furniture, construction, flooring, as well as dimensions for household uses, handles, and over 210 additional applications.

Characteristics of Beech

The typical hue of natural unsteamed beech is a light creamy shade. Steaming imparts a pink-reddish tint to the wood. The longer the steaming process, the darker the wood becomes. Beech wood is known for its overall good workability; it is easy to machine, glue, finish, and turn.
